Srinagar, Oct 20: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Tariq Hameed Karra, who is also the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Srinagar’s Central Shalteng, on Sunday visited the victims of the devastating fire in Ziyarat Batamaloo.
He expressed his deep sympathy and solidarity with the affected families, and called for urgent need for immediate and comprehensive relief efforts.
During his visit, Karra met with the fire-affected families, offering support and assuring them of his commitment to securing timely assistance. “Families have lost their homes and livelihoods in this tragic incident. It is our collective responsibility to ensure they receive the necessary resources to rebuild their lives. I urge the administration to take swift action in delivering relief, as the situation is dire,” the MLA said.
