Anantnag, Jan 18: The Mirza Mohammad Afzal Beigh Memorial (MMABM) Hospital, Anantnag, an associated hospital of GMC Anantnag, has issued new guidelines restricting visiting hours and banning outside food in wards.
According to a circular issued by the Medical Superintendent (MS) of MMABM AH GMC Anantnag, these measures are being implemented to ensure better patient care.
“For better patient care, the following instructions are effective immediately: Visiting hours for attendants in the wards are limited to 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM only. Additionally, as a diet facility is available for patients, outside food is strictly prohibited in the wards,” the circular said.
The circular further added that the use of polythene bags is strictly prohibited within the wards.
The in-charge Security Officer at MMABM AH GMC Anantnag has been directed to enforce these instructions in both letter and spirit.
“Any deviation in this regard will be dealt with seriously,” the circular warned.
