Srinagar, Jul 19: National Conference (NC) Women’s Wing State President and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Habba Kadal, Shameema Firdous, on Saturday toured various areas of the constituency to review the ongoing development works aimed at improving local infrastructure and addressing public needs.Firdous visited the water pipeline installation project in Gadood Bagh and Gund Almar areas, which is being carried out under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) project, the party said in a statement issued here.This initiative, with an investment of Rs 64.12 lakh, is expected to improve the water supply and ensure a more efficient distribution system for local residents.During her tour, the MLA inaugurated the laying of new water pipelines in the Malikyar, Khanwari, Fatehkadal, and Zaldagar areas. With an allocated budget of Rs 2.15 lakh, this project will further enhance water accessibility and improve the quality of life for the local population.Shameema emphasised the importance of infrastructure development and assured that her team is committed to improving facilities that will have a direct and positive impact on the lives of the people in these areas.
