MLA Banihal and senior National Conference (NC) leader Sajjad Shaheen on Wednesday chaired a crucial meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (Patient Welfare Committee) on Wednesday at the Primary Health Center (PHC) Ukhral. The meeting focused on reviewing the hospital’s functioning, assessing healthcare services, and discussing measures to enhance patient care and medical facilities.
Following the meeting, the MLA conducted a thorough inspection of the medical infrastructure to evaluate the availability of essential equipment, medicines, and other healthcare resources. During the visit, he interacted with admitted patients to enquire about their health conditions and the quality of medical treatment provided at the facility.
The MLA emphasized the need for strengthening healthcare services in rural areas and assured that necessary steps would be taken to address any gaps in medical facilities at PHC Ukhral.
