Security forces on Wednesday recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from forests of Anganpathri area of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A defence spokesperson said, “On 05 Feb 2025, based on specific input, a Joint Search Operation was launched by Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Angan Pathri area of Rampur, Baramulla.
“During the search, a hideout was busted along with recovery of three AK Rifles, 11 AK Magazines, nine UBGL Grenades, two Hand Grenades & other war-like stores”, he said.
Further Investigation by Police is in progress.
