Mir condoles demise of senior finance officer

New Delhi, Feb 25: All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and former JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Sunday expressed deep pain and anguish over the demise of Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh of Geebum Dooru, a Senior Accounts Officer of the Finance Department.
In a condolence message, Mir said he was deeply pained and saddened to learn about the passing away of Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh, terming it a great loss. The deceased was a fine human being with head and heart qualities, he said.
“The passing away of Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh has rendered me speechless, I have no words to express my grief and pain,” the AICC General Secretary said. “We have lost an upright personality.”
“I share the grief with the bereaved family, my thoughts and prayers are with them at this time of grief. I pray for their courage to bear the irreparable loss and eternal peace to Late Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh,” Mir added. (KNS)
