A statement issued here said that during the visit, the Minister interacted with the students, taking the opportunity to assess the facilities and infrastructure provided to them. The minister’s interaction with the students allowed him to gauge their concerns and understand their needs.
Rana was keenly attentive to the students’ feedback, and assured that the Government is committed to and prioritises the well-being and welfare of the tribal students. Following the interaction, Minister Rana instructed Director Tribal Affairs, Mohd Mumtaz Ali, to take tangible steps to improve hostel management and plug gaps in the existing system. The minister emphasized the need for effective measures to enhance the quality of facilities and services provided to the students, ensuring a conducive environment for their academic and personal growth. By taking proactive steps to address the concerns of the students and improve the hostel facilities, Minister Rana’s highlighted Omar Abdullah led Government’s commitment to the welfare of the tribal community.
He said the Government will make sincere efforts to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for the students, enabling them to excel in their academic pursuits and reach their full potential.
