Mothers should be careful when handling newborn babies, as they are the first point of contact with their babies. To prevent infection to your baby through your hands, make sure you properly wash them with soap or sanitize them before attending to your baby to ensure adequate hand hygiene. Also ask visitors to ensure the same.
