Mainly dry weather has been forecast over the plains and very light rain at one or two places over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir in next 24 hours.
A meteorological department official here to Thursday told that mainly dry weather was expected to prevail for the subsequent two days.
As regards the mercury, he said that Srinagar recorded a low of 14.4°C against 12.8°C on the previous night.
