LeT terrorist associate arrested in Pulwama: Police

Srinagar, Nov 03: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested one associate of the Lashkar-i-Toiba terror outfit in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police spokesman said that joint forces of Pulwama Police, Army 44 RR, and 183 BN CRPF arrested one terrorist associate of LeT outfit during a naka at Khamri Chowk Pulwama.
He has been identified as Zubair Ahmad Dar son of Ali Mohd Dar resident of Arigam Pulwama.
As per the Police, one hand grenade has been recovered from his possession. The arrested person was working as an associate of terrorist outfit LeT and was tasked to carry out attacks on SFs and nonlocal labourers in the area”, the police spokesman said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case vide FIR No. 314/2022 under relevant sections of law been registered at Police Station Pulwama and investigation has been initiated.
