Srinagar, July 21: The 12th match of the Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League, powered by Athwas Hyundai and the J&K Sports Council, delivered yet another memorable contest as United Elegant FC secured a gritty 1–0 victory over Greenend Heroes FC amid relentless rainfall and an undeterred crowd at the TRC Turf Ground.Despite testing weather conditions, the encounter stood as a shining example of the Valley’s unwavering passion for football — a movement that Khyber Cement proudly supports and nurtures through this premier league. The match’s solitary goal was netted by Aakif Reshi, whose clinical finish proved decisive, sealing a hard-fought win for United Elegant FC.This high-intensity fixture was marked by tactical discipline from both sides, but it was United Elegant FC’s composure and execution that tipped the balance in their favour. From resolute defending to cohesive midfield coordination, the players embodied the spirit of the game — the very ethos of Khyber Cement: building from the heart – Dil Se Banao.
