Kupwara Carrom Championship ends

J&KCA announces schedule for upcoming tournaments

Srinagar, Jan 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association Thursday said that it was delighted to announce the successful completion of the district Kupwara Carrom Championship, held on January 15th and 16th at the Indoor Stadium, Handwara. The Association, however, announced the schedule for the upcoming tournaments.
The event was organized under the prestigious “My Youth My Pride” initiative of the J&K Sports Council. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation across Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories, with players competing under the rules of the International Carrom Federation. The remarkable display of talent and sportsmanship highlighted the growing passion for carrom in the district. Upcoming Tournaments: The Association is pleased to share the schedule for the remaining district tournaments, which will be conducted in association with the concerned district units:
1. District Anantnag, Venue:
Indoor Stadium, Bijbehara
Dates: January 17th & 18th
2. District Kulgam
Venue: Indoor Stadium, Quimoh Kulgam
Dates: January 19th & 20th

3. District Shopian
Venue: Indoor Stadium, Batpora Shopian
Dates: January 21& 22
Other district tournaments will follow these events, and the dates will be published once finalized.
The Association invites schools, colleges, institutions, and individual players to register and participate in the upcoming events.
