Srinagar, Jun 02: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday extended warm greetings to the people, particularly the Kashmiri Pandit community, on the eve of Mela Kheer Bhawani, celebrated at the historic temple in Tulmulla in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
In his message, Bukhari said, “Kheer Bhawani Mela has been the symbol of Kashmir’s pluralistic ethos for centuries. This sacred festival has played a vital role in fostering communal harmony, brotherhood, and mutual respect among the diverse communities. On this spiritually significant occasion, I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone, especially to our Pandit brethren.”
“May this occasion usher in peace, harmony, and brotherhood among all communities. On this revered occasion, I urge my Pandit brothers and sisters to pray for lasting peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
