Srinagar, Sep 4: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Thursday issued a revised datasheet for the Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual 2025 examinations of the Secondary School Examination (Class 10) and Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11), cancelling the earlier schedules with immediate effect.
As per the revised date sheet, the 10th grade examinations will begin on September 8 and conclude on September 25, while the 11th grade examinations will commence from September 8 and get concluded on September 24.
An official from the JKBOSE said that in view of the inclement weather conditions and flood-like situations and their aftermath in many areas of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, various papers had to be postponed, ensuring the safety of students and teachers. “Now in anticipation of improvement in weather, the revised date sheets in respect of remaining subjects as well as postponed papers have been notified,” an official said. He said that the overall in charge, superintendents and supervisory staff appointed for the conduct of these examinations are advised to ensure proper sitting arrangements, safety and security of the students. The JKBOSE clarified that the papers already conducted according to pre-revised date sheets stand as valid. The date sheets are available on the JKBOSE website, www.jkbose.nic.in.
