JKBOSE 10, 12th-grade results expected to be out by April 30

• DSEJ orders change in school timings from May 1

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is expected to announce the re-sults for the annual regular examinations of 2025 for 12th and 10th grades between April 30 and May 1, 2025.
An official from JKBOSE informed Rising Kashmir that the 12th-grade results will be released starting on April 30. The 10th-grade results are anticipated to be declared shortly after the 12th-grade results, potentially on the same day. However, there may be a delay of 7 to 9 hours be-tween the two announcements.
The official confirmed that preparations are in place to release the 12th-grade results promptly, followed by the 10th-grade results. Furthermore, the results for the 11th grade will be announced after the 12th and 10th grades.
“Students can access their results on the official JKBOSE website, and an official gazette will also be published in the public domain and on social media platforms for easy access,” he added.
In the academic year 2024-2025, a total of 369,639 students from grades 10, 11, and 12 partici-pated in the JKBOSE Annual Regular 2025 examinations across 3,682 centers located in both soft and hard zone areas of the Union Territory.
The 10th-grade annual regular examinations in soft zones began on February 15, 2025, and con-cluded in March 2025. In the Jammu division, 61,527 students took part in the examinations at 644 centers, while 65,184 students in the Kashmir division appeared at 672 centers.
Similarly, the annual regular examinations for hard zone areas of Jammu and Kashmir started on February 21, 2025, and concluded in March 2025, with a total of 15,311 students participating at 198 centers. In the Kashmir division, 3,500 students took the exams at 43 centers.
The 12th-grade annual regular examinations began on February 15, 2025, and concluded on March 17, 2025. A total of 43,559 students from the Jammu division participated in the exams at 403 centers, while 50,609 students from the Kashmir division appeared at 470 centers. From the hard zones of the Union Territory, 6,840 students from the Jammu division appeared for the ex-ams at 92 centers, while 1,862 students from the Kashmir division took the exams at 24 centers.
Additionally, the 11th-grade examinations in the soft zones of Jammu and Kashmir began on February 18, 2025, and concluded on March 18, 2025. A total of 51,509 students from the Jam-mu division appeared for the exams at 459 centers, while 58,213 students from the Kashmir divi-sion participated in 548 centers. In the hard zones of Jammu and Kashmir, 9,304 students from the Jammu division appeared at 106 centers, and 2,221 students from the Kashmir division par-ticipated.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of School Education, Jammu (DSEJ) has ordered a change in school timings from 8 AM to 2 PM in summer zone areas of the Jammu division, effective from May 1, 2025.
The DSEJ issued an official order stating that all Government and Private recognized schools up to the Higher Secondary Level in the Summer Zones of the Jammu Division will observe school timings from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, from May 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025.
