Jammu, Jan 10: Vivek Bali, JD(U) State General Secretary, on Wednesday presided over a workers’ meeting-cum-joining program at R.S. Pura.
The focus of the meeting was on strengthening the party and creating awareness about the unbiased agenda of Janata Dal (United), centred around peace, prosperity and brotherhood, the party said in a statement issued here, adding that the gathering delved into strategic discussions regarding the upcoming Parliamentary elections, reiterating the party’s steadfast commitment to democratic values.
During the meeting, Vivek Bali instructed the workers to gear up for the impending Parliamentary elections and emphasized the importance of strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
In a press statement, Vivek Bali urged the workers to work diligently for public welfare and ensure that public grievances reach the relevant authorities. He expressed his dedication to working tirelessly for the betterment of the local populace, aiming to resolve long-standing issues that have persisted due to indifference from local authorities.
Various local issues, including impassable roads, inadequate electricity supply, and drinking water shortages, were discussed and highlighted during the meeting. Vivek Bali assured prompt attention to these concerns and pledged to address the needs of the community.
