Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh, chaired a meeting to review preparations for the upcoming Mela Bahu Fort during Navratra festival, as well as the Ram Navami and Dussehra celebrations in the city. The discussions in the meeting revolved around the roles and responsibilities assigned to various departments and organisations to ensure the smooth execution of these events.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation has been entrusted with the vital responsibility of maintaining cleanliness in and around temples and the city. This includes regular cleaning and fumigation of public areas. Additionally, arrangements for water tanks and mobile toilets near prominent temples and public places have been made.
The Public Works Department has been given the task of ensuring that the roads leading to significant locations, particularly the one leading to Bagh e Bahu temple from Bikram Chowk, are in optimal condition.
