IUST’s Computer Science deptt holds alumni meet

Awantipora, Jan 09: The department of Computer Science and Engineering IUST, organized Alumni Interaction focusing among others on the “Future Directions: Do’s and Don’ts of BTech CSE” under the aegis of Alumni Connect (Dean Outreach) in collaboration with the newly founded club Aabshaar-e-Anwaar. Mr. Sajaad Ahmad Lone (Head, Dept. of CSE) gave the introductory remarks about the session. Professor Lily Want (Dean Outreach-IUST) formally inaugurated the event and emphasized the crucial role of career guidance during the campus years.
Sadaf Shafi (AI Solutions Architect, SimplyFI Tech) and Sadam Hussain Ganie (M.Tech. Student in Computer Science and Information Security at NIT Warangal) alumni of Dept. of CSE, IUST, discussed about the career prospects. The speakers underscored the significance of students seeking guidance from seniors and teachers for their future endeavours.
The event coordinated by Dr. Ahsan Hussain (Coordinator – Alumni Connect, Dept. of CSE, IUST) and hosted by Ms. Sadiya Ayjaz (Founder of Aabshaar e Anwaar Club), witnessed participation from students across semesters. The session presented the students with the opportunity to engage directly with former students who have real-world experience. They offered advices, shared stories, and answered diverse questions about their own journeys after graduation.
