Baramulla, April 27: Amid ongoing inter-school zonal level competitions across the 18 zones of Baramulla district, Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Baramulla Saturday conducted a series of vibrant sports events that saw youth making their mark in Yoga and Chess Competitions.
Zone Fatehgarh hosted an Inter-School Yoga Competition for boys under 14 and under 17 age categories. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 50 students. Meanwhile, Zone Singpora Pattan organized a thrilling Chess Competition for under 14 and under 17 boys at High School Singpora Pattan, where 50 young minds showcased their strategic skills and competitive spirit.
Zone Tangmarg also joined the sporting celebrations by conducting an Inter-School Zonal Level Chess Competition for U-14 and U-17 boys. The event, held at Government High School Chandilora, saw participation from over 30 students. Winners were awarded certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances. These activities are part of YSS Baramulla’s broader efforts to promote physical fitness, mental agility, and sportsmanship among the youth at the grassroots level.
