Srinagar, Nov 07: Inspector General Kashmir Operational Sector CRPF (KOS CRPF) Gyanendra Kumar Verma Tuesday paid a visit to the outposts of the 130 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Noorpora, Pulwama on Wednesday.
During his visit, he conducted a comprehensive review of operational preparedness and night deployments to ensure the security of vulnerable pockets in the region.
With a focus on strengthening the security measures in the area, IG CRPF Verma engaged in discussions with CRPF personnel, assessing their readiness and vigilance.
A CRPF spokesman said that the visit aimed to enhance the operational efficiency and readiness of the 130 Battalion CRPF in safeguarding the region.
“Inspector General’s presence was instrumental in boosting the morale of the CRPF personnel, who play a crucial role in maintaining peace and security in the Pulwama region. This visit underlines the commitment of the CRPF to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of residents in this sensitive area,” he said.
The spokesman said the visit of IG Verma demonstrates the CRPF’s ongoing efforts to enhance security in the Pulwama region and its commitment to safeguarding the nation.
