Srinagar, Aug 03: The Health Department Kashmir on Thursday ordered nominated nodal officers ahead of the Independence Day celebrations.
As per an order of DHSK, the move comes in light of the instructions conveyed in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir.
“Nodal officers have been nominated to have a close coordination with all the stakeholders of the Department for smooth and successful conduction of Independence Day Celebration, 2023,” the order said.
The order said the nominated nodal officers include Dr Shabir Siddique, Incharge Intensive Care Units ICU/Grievances DHSK, Dr Bashir Ahmad Khan, Assistant Director (HEB), Dr Mir Mushtaq, I/C National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP)/Spokesperson DHSK, Mushtaq Ali, AAO DHSK and Sajjad Amin, AEE, SHTO, DHSK.
The order said the Nodal Officers thus nominated shall take all required steps for the main event, which is going to be held at the Head Office of the Department.
“Ensure participation of at least 500 employees at Sher-I-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Srinagar) and their transportation to ferry them from Head Office Bemina to Sher-I-Kashmir Stadium, whose nomination they shall get from all Chief Medical Officers leaving those doctors and paramedics, who are to be deployed for Independence Day duties by the respective CMOs/Medical Superintendents,” the order said.
