Ingredients used
• Chicken 1.5 kg
• Dahi (Curd) 1 kg
• 2 table spoon chopped garlic
• 1 teaspoon dry ginger powder (Shounth)
• 1 teaspoon Funnel Powder (Badeyana)
• 3 black Cardamom (Bede Ael or Badi Ilachi)
• 4 green Cardamom (Sabz Ael or chotiilachi)
• 2 Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini)
• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (Haldi or Laeder)
• 3 table spoon fried onion paste (piyaz)
• 1 teaspoon Ghee
• 2 Glass water
• 100 gm Chopped Dhaniya
• Salt according to taste
• Oil for frying
Method
• Add oil in a pan, heat it well and fry chicken pieces till golden brown. Now take them out and keep aside. Take a pot now and fry curd till it boils with continuous stirring.
• Now to this fried curd, add two table spoon of oil and add fried chicken pieces, garlic, dry ginger powder, fennel powder, black cardamon, green cardamon, cinnamon stick, clove, turmeric powder, salt, 3 table spoon fried onion paste according to the measurements mentioned above in ingredient section.
• Now cook on high flame until oil comes out. At this stage add 3 glasses of water and let it boil on high flame. Once it starts boiling, add 1 table spoon of ghee.
• Now cover the pot and let it boil on high flame until the gravy turn thick and oil comes out. Now turn off the flame and let it cool down for 5 minutes. Now add fresh chopped coriander (daniya).
• Note: add green coriander at the end to make sure the color of daniya won’t change. Your dish is ready. Please enjoy this delicious recipe with your family and friends.
