Srinagar, Aug 22: Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen, Chairman of the People’s Democratic Front (PDF), has expressed his gratitude to the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Jammu & Kashmir for reinstating the party registration.
The party had been delisted previously due to a communication gap, and the re-registration has provided significant relief to the party cadres, Hakeem said in a statement issued here.
He assured that the PDF remains committed to strengthening secular and democratic values at the grassroots level. “The party opposes politics of hate and emotional blackmail used to divide society for electoral gains,” he said.
