Srinagar, Aug 22: Arif Laigaroo, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) State Secretary and Constituency In-charge for Habakadal, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the party leadership, especially President Mehbooba Mufti, for giving him the mandate from the Habakadal assembly segment.
He thanked the PDP leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility of “carrying forward the mission” of the late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and the “pro-people agenda” of the party.
In a statement issued here, Laigaroo said he sees this responsibility as a mission to represent the wishes and aspirations of the people of Habakadal. “I will prioritise their needs and remain dedicated to public service,” he said. “This trust has strengthened his resolve to continue serving the public with greater dedication.”
Laigaroo further said that the PDP has always believed in the power of the people. He expressed hope that the electorate, as the ultimate judges, will choose the best representation to voice their aspirations in the highest forum.
