Anantnag, May 05: Gundnasir Sports lifts the title of Summer Cup Veeri by defeating Green Line Hatigam in the final match by 6 wicketson Sunday here at Tarbal Sports Ground Veeri Anantnag.
Earlier while batting first Green Line Hatigam set a small total of 113 runs as target. In reply Gundnasir Sports chased down the target easily by losing only 4 wickets and emerged as Champion team of the tournament.
On the post-match presentation Ceremony S.P Anantnag Furqan Qadir was the Chief guest, who distributed Trophies and Momentos among the invited guests and teams. Prof. Mir Khurshid was adjudged as man of the match for his crucial 3 wickets in the match.
Muzamil Padder from Matipora Sports was adjudged as man of the tournament for 387 runs 11 wickets throughout the tournament. Yawar Sofi was declared as best all-rounder of the tournament. The tournament was organised by Veeri Cricket Association.
