Govt orders special casual leave for Kashmiri migrant employees

Srinagar, Sep 03: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the grant of three days’ Special Casual Leave for Kashmiri Migrant Employees posted in the Kashmir valley during the three phases of the upcoming Assembly Elections.
According to an official order, a copy of which is with Rising Kashmir, the Special Casual Leave will be granted to eligible employees who are posted in the Kashmir valley and are eligible to vote at Special Polling Stations set up in Jammu, Udhampur, and Delhi.
The order specifies the dates for availing the Special Casual Leave. For the first phase of polls on September 18, 2024, the leave will be from September 17 to 19, 2024.
For the second phase of polls on September 25, 2024, the leave will be from September 24 to 26, 2024.
For the third phase of polls, the leave will be from September 30 to October 2, 2024.
This special leave will enable Kashmiri Migrant Employees to exercise their right to vote in the Assembly Elections.
