Srinagar, Oct 09 : In a significant move to elevate Health care standards, GMC Srinagar’s Anesthesiology and Critical Care Department will host a prestigious two-day conference on critical care, featuring some renowned national experts.

The conference will focus on the latest developments in patient management, and aims to provide healthcare professionals with state-of-the-art tools and insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of critical care.

Distinguished faculty from leading institutions such as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, will contribute to this notable event.

The conference will commence on October 15 with a specialized workshop dedicated to Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and advanced airway management techniques.

On October 16, the conference will shift to broader discussions on groundbreaking research and emerging trends in critical care.

Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Hina Bashir, Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care at GMC Srinagar and Chairperson of the organizing committee, the event promises to deliver thought-provoking presentations and foster dynamic exchanges on best practices and innovations in the discipline.

This hands-on workshop is designed to enhance the participants’ skills in key aspects of critical care, with a particular focus on practical applications in patient management. Healthcare professionals from across the country are expected to attend, eager to learn from top leaders in the field.

A key factor in the event’s success is the leadership of Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan, Patron and Principal of GMC Srinagar, and Prof. Dr Javed Naqshbandi, Organizing Secretary.

Their efforts have been instrumental in curating a comprehensive program that highlights the importance of collaboration in advancing critical care protocols. The participation of experts from AIIMS and PGIMER further enhances the conference’s stature, underscoring the significance of inter-institutional cooperation in improving patient outcomes.

The two-day scientific program will be held under the aegis of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), the College of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (CISA), the All India Difficult Airway Association (AIDAA), and the J&K Critical Care Society.

This conference not only presents an invaluable opportunity for continued medical education but also reaffirms GMC Srinagar’s dedication to enhancing clinical expertise and healthcare delivery.

As medical science rapidly advances, forums like these are crucial for equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges of modern critical care.
