Srinagar, Apr 05: The Gayoor Foundation, a distinguished organization devoted to the promotion of literature and spirituality, convened a significant event titled “Biyad e Gayoor” at Tagore Hall, Srinagar.
Chaired by Allama Showket Hussain Keng alongside Fayaz Tilgami and Syed Fayaz Andrabi, the event served as a homage to the remarkable life and legacy of Sout-i-Kashmir Syed Ghulam Rasool Gayoor Andrabi.
Dignitaries from various spheres of life gathered to honor the contributions of Syed Ghulam Rasool Gayoor Andrabi. With attendees including Ghulam Hassan Gamgeen, Abdul Rehman Fida, Yaseen Baig Dregami, Zaman Noor, G.M. Mir, Sikander Irshad, and Mehjabeen Nabi, the event hosted by Dr. Wahid Raza featured speeches, recitations, and discussions highlighting the enduring influence of Gayoor Andrabi’s work.
The attendees had the opportunity to delve into his literary works, spiritual teachings, and visionary leadership, gaining valuable insights into his profound impact on society. Speaking at the event, Zaman Noor emphasized Gayoor Andrabi’s resilience, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his principles, calling for a continued commemoration of his legacy.
Moreover, the event marked the release of the Ph.D. thesis submitted by sScholar Sanju Kumar of the Urdu department at the University of Jammu, symbolizing years of hard work and scholarly pursuit.
Expressing gratitude to all participants, supporters, and volunteers, the Gayoor Foundation highlighted their unwavering dedication and enthusiasm, underlining the significance of preserving and celebratingthe rich cultural and intellectual heritage of the region.
The “Biyad e Gayoor” event stands as a testament to the enduring impact of Syed Ghulam Rasool Gayoor Andrabi’s legacy, reaffirming the commitment to promoting literature, spirituality, and peace leadership in the Kashmiri community.
