Srinagar, Sep 22: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri said that there was a peaceful conclusion of Friday prayers led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at the historic Jamia Srinagar Masjid.
Speaking to reporters here, Bidhuri highlighted that the peaceful culmination of the prayers is a testament to the ongoing peace process. He credited both the people and the relevant authorities for their prudent decision-making.
The Div Com emphasised the importance of every citizen’s role in society, particularly in the current context of addressing the drug menace. He stressed that all members of society, including religious leaders, share a responsibility in combating this issue.
