Srinagar, March 01 : A fire broke out at a residential house in Zakura, Hazratbal today, prompting a swift response from the Fire & Emergency Services.
The Hazratbal Fire Station received the distress call at 2:26 PM and immediately dispatched a fire truck at 2:27 PM. Subsequently, one additional fire truck from Nowshera , Srinagar, was deployed to assist in the firefighting operation.
The fire, which partially damaged a residential house, was brought under control through the combined efforts of fire personnel from both Hazratbal and Nowshera fire stations.
Authorities have confirmed that the situation is now under control. No casualties have been reported. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
