Srinagar, June 27: Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Srinagar, proudly inaugurated an Exhibition-Cum-Sale of Outfits Friday, showcasing the creative and technical prowess of students from the Department of Garment Technology. The event was organised as part of the students’ final project submission, reflecting their dedication and skill in fashion design and garment technology.

A statement issued here said that the exhibition was inaugurated by Imtiyaz Ahmad Shaw, Principal, Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Srinagar, who lauded the efforts of the students and faculty. He emphasised the importance of such initiatives in bridging the gap between academia and industry, providing students with a platform to display their talent and gain practical exposure. Shafaqat Yousuf, Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Ganderbal, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. In her address, she commended the students for their exceptional craftsmanship and encouraged them to pursue excellence in the field of garment technology.
