Er Rajeev Gandhotra joins NC

Jammu, Nov 12: Rajeev Gandhotra (Engineer) joined the National Conference on Tuesday at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here in the presence of the party’s provincial president Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta.
Welcoming Rajeev Gandhotra into the party, Gupta described the National Conference as a “mass movement that has all along stood for the just cause of the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and strived for development and progress of the J&K with a sense of commitment”.
Gupta hoped that with the joining of Rajeev Gandhotra, the party will be further strengthened at the grassroots level. “A strong National Conference is a key to steer Jammu and Kashmir to peace, progress and development besides meeting the challenges confronted to the J&K,” he said, according to a statement issued here.
After joining the party, Gandhotra said the political policies and programmes of the NC are people-friendly. “National Conference is the only political organisation which represents the people in both Jammu and Kashmir. I am joining to strengthen the party at the grassroots level,” he said.
