Senior leader of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), Peer Bilal, has urged the administration to intensify market inspections during the holy month of Ramzan to curb soaring prices of essential commodities.
Expressing concern over the skyrocketing rates of vegetables, fruits, meat, and other necessities, Peer Bilal highlighted the increasing burden on the common people.
Peer Bilal demanded strict implementation of consumer rights and rigorous market checking in the Kashmir valley to address this issue.
He urged the administration to take proactive measures to regulate prices, prevent exploitation, and ensure that people have access to affordable necessities during the holy month of Ramzan.
