Dir Sericulture extends Eid greetings, hails silkworm rearers, farmers

Srinagar, June 16: Director Sericulture, J&K, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS), has extended his warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to all citizens, especially silkworm rearers, dedicated farmers, vibrant youth, and diligent employees on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
In his message, the Director Sericulture said that Eid-ul-Azha is a festival that inspires a spirit of giving and sharing with those in need, fostering a sense of brotherhood among people across the board. “This festival reminds us of the importance of resilience, hard work, and the strength that comes from unity—values that resonates deeply within the sericulture community,” he said.
Bhat further said that the unwavering dedication and hard work of silkworm rearers and farmers are the backbone of the sericulture industry. “Their efforts ensure the continued growth and success of this vital sector, contributing significantly to the economy of Jammu & Kashmir,” he said. On this special occasion, he commended their perseverance and commitment.
While addressing the employees of the Sericulture department, Ajaz acknowledged their professionalism and dedication, terming their contributions as invaluable. He called for a renewed commitment to work together for the betterment of society and the prosperity of the sericulture industry.
