In order to ensure proper arrangements for ensuing Republic Day (RD) celebration in the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of all concerned officers, here and fixed responsibilities on them.
Speaking at the occasion, the DC stressed upon the officers to ensure hassle free arrangements for smooth conduct of the National Event and instructed them to maintain proper coordination and follow a timeline for ensuring arrangements well in advance. She asked the officers to encourage more participation with much fervour and enthusiasm.
The DC directed all the departments to display Tableaus on the eve of Republic Day Parade to showcase developmental activities of their respective departments and government schemes. She said all efforts shall be made to make the National Function more attractive and informative.
