Pampore, Nov 18: “Congress will emerge stronger given its pro-people policies and the struggle to safeguard public rights, which are under assault under the BJP rule,” said Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Vikar Rasool Wani on Saturday.
Presiding over a worker’s meeting at Pampore area of Pulwama district to discuss organizational matters and other issues confronting the party, Wani urged the party workers to continue working with dedication to further strengthen Congress and remain steadfast to serve people to the best of their ability, a party statement issued here said.
“The wrong policies of the BJP are responsible for the chaos and miseries confronting the public while pushing them towards darkness,” he said.
Wani said Congress shall not compromise on its stated position of unifying people and working towards their progress and prosperity. “The party is fully capable of defeating the designs of the BJP and its offshoots, who are working in J&K against the aspirations of the people to benefit the saffron party politically, but that is not going to happen, as they stand fully exposed before the public,” he said.
