Srinagar, Feb 14:*Congress leader and Media Coordinator Kashmir, Dr. Audil Farooq Mir Las-jan, convened a meeting today with representatives from Zaffron Colony, Zewan, Peth Ze-wan, Aripora, Balhama, and Pandrethan areas of Lal Chowk Assembly constituency.
The discussions centered on pressing local concerns and the challenges residents face fol-lowing their participation in the recent elections.
Representatives highlighted issues related to infrastructure, administrative inefficiencies, and the urgent need for better civic amenities.
Dr. Audil listened attentively, assuring them that their immediate concerns would be escalated to the relevant authorities while emphasizing that the broader struggle for long-term develop-ment remains a priority.
“Public grievances must not be overlooked or delayed. We are committed to ensuring that every concern is heard and addressed,” Dr. Audil stated during the meeting.
He reaffirmed that the Congress party stands firmly with the people, advocating for their rights at every level.
The outreach initiative, launched under the directive of Congress President J&K, Tariq Hamid Karra, aims to strengthen grassroots engagement and reinforce the party’s role as a bridge between citizens and the administration.
“Our fight is not just for day-to-day issues but for a future where every individual has access to better infrastructure, governance, and justice,” Dr. Audil emphasized.
He reassured attendees that the Congress party remains steadfast in its mission to serve the people and push for tangible progress in the region.
