Bandipora, Nov 05: The Chief Educational Officer of Bandipora has established a three-member inquiry committee to investigate the alleged corporal punishment of a student at Government Primary School Kohi Mohalla Athwatoo by a teacher in North Kashmir Bandipora district.
Kishore Kumar, the Chief Education Officer of Bandipora, informed Rising Kashmir that the committee has been formed to address the allegations of corporal punishment at Government Primary School Koli Mohalla. The members of the inquiry committee are tasked with examining the situation and determining the facts surrounding the incident (a copy of the complaint is attached).
“The inquiry committee will hear both the parties involved and is expected to submit their findings to this office within two days for further action,” He said.
An official from the Police Station Pethkoot reported that a case has been registered under FIR Number 63/2024, sections 115(2) and 351(2) BNS at the police station.
