Srinagar, Mar 14: Chinar Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai on Thursday visited Rashtriya Rifles troops deployed in the Counter Terrorism Grid to review the security situation in South Kashmir.
Army spokesman said that Chinar Corps Cdr visited Rashtriya Rifles troops deployed in the Counter Terrorism Grid to review the security situation in South Kashmir in the region.
During the visit he exhorted and motivated troops to remain in a high state of operational readiness and morale.
The Army Commander exhorted all ranks to remain focused on operational preparedness and continue working with utmost zeal and enthusiasm.
Earlier on Feb 24: Lieutenant MV Suchindra Kumar, Army Commander of the Northern Command visited Victor and Kilo Force to review the prevalent security situation in the Valley.
He appreciated the operational readiness of the formations and urged all personnel to uphold the operational tempo.
