Jammu Feb 10: To review the security scenario and the preparedness for the inauguration of AIIMS Jammu by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, four expert teams from the central government comprising security agencies and experts from the Union Health Ministry visited the AIIMS at Vijaipur in Samba district of Jammu last week.
These teams of experts, after conducting thorough inspection of the Jammu AIIMS, have submitted a detailed report to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for taking appropriate call regarding inauguration of AIIMS by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The experts also reviewed the preparedness of the AIIMS such as availability of machinery, and manpower.
“Four teams of experts from the central security agencies and the Union Health Ministry, visited AIIMS at Vijaipur in past week,” AIIMS Director, Shakti Gupta informed Rising Kashmir, while adding, “On the basis of the reports submitted by the central security agencies and the teams of Union Health Ministry, the PMO will take a call on inauguration of the AIIMS by the Prime Minister”.
He added, “We are expecting intimation from the PMO regarding inauguration of AIIMS by the Prime Minister anytime this month”.
The AIIMS Director further added that Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate other mega development projects along with AIIMS this month before imposition of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
