‘Career Plus Programme’ for NEET, JEE aspirants launched in B’la

Baramulla, Sep 21: As part of BYJU’S Social Initiatives in partnership with NITI Aayog’s Aspirational District Programme, a Career Plus Programme in Baramulla, was launched to provide high-quality coaching to meritorious students of classes 11th and 12th who aspire to appear for NEET and JEE. 
The initiative was launched during the Public Outreach Program organized by Municipal Council Baramulla in presence of District Development Commissioner, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar, Chief Education Officer and National Awardee, Mr. G. M. Lone besides other officers of the district.
 
The organisers said that in addition to coaching, learning material for JEE and NEET, mentoring support and guidance will also be provided to such students.
 
Earlier Aakash plus BYJU’S Admission Cum Scholarship Test (ACST) was conducted to select the students. 
 
The program was organised and supported by the District Administration and Chief Education Office, Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir by distributing the tabs to the meritorious students selected for the Career Plus Program for the preparation of JEE and NEET under the Aspirational District Project of BYJU’S and NITI Aayog.
 
The programme will provide coaching for students of 2 years and they will be provided with tablets to learn during this two-year tenure and prepare for JEE & NEET competitive test preparation exams. 
 
 The students will be taught & mentored by Aakash BYJUs and continuously monitored for successful implementation and effectiveness of the program.
 
Program Managers of BYJU’S and Piramal Foundation along with their fellows coordinated and facilitated the program launch.
 
BYJU’S Education for All initiative in collaboration with Piramal Foundation has also launched Bunyadi Taleem Muhim (FLN Campaign) at the same event. 
 
It is pertinent to mention here that Piramal Foundation is an implementation partner of NITI Aayog in the Aspirational Districts Collaborative Program.
