Budgam admin sets up 24×7 Disaster Control Room/Help Desk

Srinagar, Aug 17: In response to adverse weather conditions throughout Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities in Budgam district have set up a 24×7 Disaster Control Room/Help Desk at the DC Office Budgam to ensure a swift response during such weather events.The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Budgam said that considering the current adverse weather conditions and to facilitate prompt responses, coordination, and resolution of public concerns, the District Administration Budgam has established a 24/7 Disaster Control Room in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, effective immediately.The Control Room will act as the central hub for gathering and distributing information regarding weather-related incidents, public safety issues, and emergency services.
