Bodies of 3 persons retrieved from well  at  Khansahib

BUDGAM, May 29: The bodies of three Persons who had fallen into a well in Gotipora village of Budgam district, were successfully retrieved after a seven-hour rescue operation on Wednesday.
 
Ghulam Hassan Dar, a local resident, recounted how one youth fell into the well, prompting two others to come to his aid but also getting trapped. 
 
“Due to the shortage of the drinking water,  there are more than 30 similar tubewell trenches  in  the village useds by people for drinking, cooking and other purposes ,” Dar said.
 
He said that they have never received round the clock  water supply in their village.
 
He identified all the deceased persons as Amjad Hussain son of  Ghulam Mohammad Dar, Momin Ali Dar Son Mohammad Qasim Dar, Ghulam Hassan wani Son  of Mohammad Sultan wani all the residents of Gotipora village of Khansahib tehsil.
 
A  Police official from the police Station Khansahib told  Rising Kashmir all three dead bodies were recovered from the tubewell trench by rescue operation teams
 
“The special teams from SDRF, NDRF, Budgam Police and Indian Army recovered the bodies of three persons who fell into a tube well .” an official said.
 
“After more than seven hours, all the bodies were retrieved and taken to the hospital for further formalities,” he added.
 
An official from the Sub District Hospital Khansahib said all the three dead bodies were brought dead to the Hospital.
