Ramnagar, Dec 05: In line with the latest initiative launched by the BJP whereby direct outreach and contact is done in SC bastis under the programme, ‘Basti Sampark Karyakram’, largely attended meetings were held at S.K Ber, Ramnagar, Kaghote and Khoon, a statement from the BJP said.
It was impressed upon the party cadres that a whopping number of funds as well as initiatives has been made available for the virtual upliftment and empowerment of SCs and STs by the dispensation at the Centre under the vanguard of Prime Minister Modi, the statement added.
If we speak of the matriculation scholarship, till 2025-26 four crore students at the cost of 60,000 crore rupees are supposed to be benefitted out of this scholarship, the statement ssaid.
Similarly, on account of national overseas scholarship, year 2021-22 budget contains an outlay of 37.34 crore rupees. While pushing up entrepreneurs through the ‘Stand Up India’ scheme again preferences have been accorded to entrepreneurs belonging to the SC/ST communities in J&K.
Moreso, post revocation of article-370 and 35-A the concept of social justice has been actualized for the SC community, especially Valmikis.
Under Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, more than 50 % population shall be benefited and an outlay of 1291 crore rupees has been kept. Similarly, the SC/ST atrocities act has been fine-tuned and chiseled Ambedkar Asiim under. Under Ambedkar’s social innovation incubation mission, a venture capital fund has been developed with a view to developing and chiseling talented SC candidates.
Similarly, under Pardhan Mantri Mudra Yojana for non-corporate and small scale industries, a provision of 10 lac rupees loan has been made available which shall include 34.94 crore beneficiaries at an expected outlay of 1.90 lac crores.
SC district president Suram Chand, Mool Raj DDC Ramnagar-I, Jattu Ram DDC Ramnagar-II, Benti Devi President MC Ramnagar, Kuldeep Sharma Mandal President, Shounku, Rameez Sheikh, Jagdish Sharma, Raj Gopal, Rameshwar Gupta, Chuni Lal, Vijay Kumar, Mohd Iqbal, and others remained present, the statement said.
