Jammu, July 16: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) election in-charge of Jammu & Kashmir, G Kishan Reddy on Tuesday said the party is fully prepared for assembly elections ain the union territory.
“We are confident enough to form our next government in Jammu & Kashmir,” Reddy said while addressing a workshop of ‘Tridev and Morcha Sammelans’ organised by the J&K BJP unit at Jammu.
He also talked about the abrogation of Article 370, saying, “In the past, we had to agitate and take out nationwide yatra to hoist Tiranga in Srinagar but now tiranga is proudly flying high in every corner of Jammu & Kashmir.”
Reddy further said, “J&K witnessed nepotism, corruption, separatism, terrorism hartal calendars, but is now witnessing unprecedented development under the Modi government. The people have understood the importance of the BJP government for peace and stability in the region.”
