Srinagar, Jan 06: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Friday felicitated the new office bearers of district Srinagar and appointed its Senior leader Advocate S S Rizvi as new General Secretary of Srinagar District.
As per the statement issued here, BJP under the Presidency of Ashok Bhat and leadership of Ashok Koul, who was also the Chief guest, felicitated new office bearers and nominated new District team for Srinagar in which Advocate S S Rizvi was promoted as General Secretary.
While speaking on the occasion Rizvi said that he is pleased as the party has added him some more responsibility and he promises to try his level best to do justice with his responsibility with every honesty and dedication.
“I am very thankful to Ravinder Raina, Ashok Koul, Sunil Sharma and Ashok Bhat for their trust in me to promote me as General Secretary” , he added.
