Bandipora, Oct 20: A youth from North Kashmir’s Bandipora district synonymous with fitness excellence and the reigning Mr. Kashmir titleholder has pivoted his health and wellness endeavors towards rural areas.
Peerzada Aqeel, a 26-year-old civil engineering student, who established the gym club named “Aesthetic Era” in the Town area of district some years ago made a resounding impact in town.
Akeel decided to pursue a career in fitness alongside his engineering education. He honed his fitness skills by earning degrees from the ‘Gold’s Gym Fitness Institute’ in Noida, New Delhi.
Akeel, with his extraordinary physique to fitness, has earned the admiration of countless young enthusiasts. His gym in Bandipora town has become a hub of transformation, with thousands of boys benefitting from his coaching.
Now, Akeel has set his sights on extending the reach of fitness to the rural areas of Bandipora which marks a new chapter in his fitness odyssey.
He recently established a gym club in Lowdara village of district, where his mission is to bring the benefits of fitness and wellness to those who may have had limited access to such opportunities before.
In a conversation with Rising Kashmir, Akeel said that his journey in fitness has been incredibly rewarding, and he believes that everyone, regardless of where they live, deserves access to a healthier lifestyle.
“Establishing a gym club in Lowdara village is about making fitness more inclusive and reaching out to those who aspire to transform themselves physically and mentally”, Akeel added.
Akeel said that his move to expand into rural areas has been met with widespread appreciation, as he seeks to empower the youth of Bandipora and inspire them to lead healthier lives.
Fitness is not just about aesthetics; it’s about self-improvement, self-confidence, and self-discovery, Akeel said, adding that it’s my privilege to be a part of this transformative journey with the youth of Bandipora.
Akeel said in addition to catering to the younger population, the gym also welcomes older individuals who frequent the facility to maintain their fitness levels.
Aqeel has broadened the gym’s range of offerings by incorporating a cafeteria, a supply store, and the introduction of kickboxing and cardio sessions directly on-site.
“I’ve introduced a bodybuilding supplement with no discernible side effects, making it readily available to anyone interested in joining our gym center at any time”, he added.
