Samba, May 13: A review meeting to assess the arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 was held Tuesday at the DC Office Samba under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma.

The meeting was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Champa Devi Thakur, with ADC Jagadish Singh also present. The meeting focused on the readiness of lodgement centres, availability of drinking water, power supply, sanitation, health services, and traffic management.  ADDC Champa Devi Thakur urged departments to coordinate effectively and ensure that all necessary facilities are in place well before the Yatra begins. DC Rajesh Sharma, while overseeing the preparations, has directed officials to work with dedication to ensure a smooth and safe experience for pilgrims. The importance of installing digital screens, banners, and directional signboards was also highlighted to strengthen information flow and feedback during the Yatra.
