Srinagar, Sep 09: Apni Party’s provincial president Mohammad Ashraf Mir, accompanied by several prominent party leaders, on Saturday visited the City Mall in Srinagar where an art exhibition organised by the Second Lives Art Guild is going on.
They applauded the imaginative artwork created by gifted young boys and girls. The two-day event is a collaborative effort with radio partner RED FM 93.5.
Among the senior party leaders who attended the event were Spokesperson Muntazir Mohiuddin, Media Advisor Farooq Andrab, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, in charge of Habba Kadal constituency and district Secretary Srinagar Jeelani Kumar, Vice President District Srinagar and Party In-Charge Khanyar Constituency Mohsin Zaffar Shah, Youth Leader Bilal Ahmad Dar, and others.
The visiting leaders expressed their admiration for the art pieces and their creators, among them Deepa Soni, Dr Jehangeer Aslam, Er. Shazia Basharat, Iftekhar Wani, Rahilla Yaseen, Samreen Nabi and Urfan Rafiqi.
Numerous esteemed dignitaries from various spheres graced the event with their presence on the exhibition’s inaugural day. The visitors have been captivated by the rich tapestry of colours, emotions, and ideas on display, each piece reflecting the unique perspectives of its artist.
On the occasion, Mir remarked that the art exhibition stands as a testament to the flourishing arts scene in the region, uniting both established and emerging talents. He said Kashmir is a vibrant hub of young artistic talent who, when provided opportunities, can shine in national and international competitions.
