Jammu, Sep 04: A deputation of Apni Party on Monday called on Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya and highlighted the drinking water issue of Raipur, Satwari.
The deputation was led by Apni Party Provincial President Jammu Women Wing Pavneet Kour and she was accompanied by Apni Party Provincial President Jammu, Tirath Singh, Vice President Transport Union, Devinder Singh Gill, District President Women Wing, Ritu Pandita, and Sheetal Sharma.
The deputation informed the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu about the problems faced by the Raipur, Satwari who were not getting clean drinking tap water.
The members informed the people in Raipur to fetch drinking water or hire private water tankers to supply them with water in the absence of tap water in the locality. They sought the intervention of DC Jammu to resolve this issue. After giving a patient hearing, the DC Jammu assured the deputation that he would inquire into the issue.
